Normalized Response

The normalized responses are the raw responses divided by the Bmax or the highest standard dilution raw response from that assay. The normalized response factors out the tracer label and reaction variation between assays. The reaction variation is from differences in incubation conditions and reagent integrity between assays. The between assay variation in normalized responses are due to differences in the amount of analyte in each assay preparation plus the random variation of sample replicates, modeled in the variance regression.
